Two polaroids via my Dark Paradise shoot back in February '14. The garments photographed above were actually samples I was working on & kind of sort of never finished.
The bandeau is made from poly spandex, has a caged elastic back & is sewn together with a silver o-ring. The front of the bandeau has minimal ruching & overall is amazingly comfortable. I made sure to secure the straps in the back so that when you put it on over your head, the straps don't twist drastically.
As for the high waist cut out panty, this lovely sheer number is made from poly spandex & power mesh. I created cut outs by scooping out the front/ back of the panty & used the same elastic as I did for the bandeau to keep the waist together. My overall finished sample came out a bit too big, I still want to change my sewing construction but other than that I think it turned out really well.
The bandeau is available to purchase here & as for the panty, maybe by next summer if/ when I launch a swimwear collection.
